The Punk Rope Games have been held annually in New York City since 2009. A cross between the Olympics and Mardi Gras, the Games feature teams of 4 in costume competing in 10 events, which range from the highly athletic to the somewhat goofy. Anyone can compete. Spectators are welcome. The Games conclude with an awards ceremony and the presentation of the Punk Rope Cup.

$25 for an individual or $100 for a team of 4
75% of the proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire and 25% will go to Sunnyside Shines.

The Punk Rope Games benefit the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire and Sunnyside Shines. The suggested donation is $100 per team or $25 per individual.
They are strongly encouraged. The Games are WAY more fun when teams dress in costume!
Yes! The more the merrier! Competitors love to have folks cheering them on. There is no fee for spectators to attend.

Not really. Our youngest competitor was 8 years old. That said, a 3-year-old would probably get smoked in most of the events and have a terrible time at the after party.
Yes! We always need a team of volunteers to help with set up, officiating, clean up, and many other tasks. If you’d like to be part of the team, email tim@punkrope.com.
